She was constructed with no compromise, using the highest spec materials the Class 40 association rules allow.
Epoxy, E-Glass fibre on foam core sandwhich.
She also benefits from extra safety precautions taken in having 4 water tight bulkheads to be as close to the Cat 0 compliance, although she is not CAT 0 rated at present.
SP345 spar bond for all bulkheads, stringers and structural components. Another major plus point is she was built from female moulds to obtain a lightweight and fair hull.

The Class 40 continues to prove popular with the expanding racing community the Portimao Global Ocean Race showing just how well designed and built they are.
They provide the professional standard and speeds at an attainable budget and maintenance costs.
This particular Class 40 has been professionally campaigned and achieved success in a number of races. With her class certificate complete and equipment updated in 2008 (all running rigging replaced!)
She has been put to bed correctly with all items removed for dry storage and put ashore. She is the Class 40 for sale with most things taken care of apart from a new sailor or racer.
It would be difficult to find another class 40 with her build, equipment and pedigree for a similar price.
The owner is also open to offers of part exchange on another boat, a house or a car. If you have a part exchange please contact us to check suitability
