Based in Gosport I moved here for the love of sailing in the solent, a graphic designer by trade my passion has now turned into a job and I can honestly say am living the dream.

I actually started working with on the design and marketing side of things and now I also run my own brand Boatshed including being lucky to be part of a team that specialise in selling top racing yachts with Boatshed

Having worked on the business development side of various marine businesses in the Gosport/Portsmouth area and running a chandlery it definitely helps to know all the good local suppliers to the boating industry to guide clients in the right direction when they are looking for upgrades or maintenance on their new boat.

Customers intelligently buy boats

Customers create the buying rules. They research fully before they make any decision to buy. Boatshed provides customers with transparent full/complete boat information including: full boat specification, up to 80 photos, videos, inventory.

We save time

  • For Owners - Only really interested extremely profiled buyers physically view the boat
  • For Buyers - No surprises and no wasted journeys, the boat is as described on-line
  • Boatshed Brokers we have a physical viewing average of 2.2 before the boat is sold. This is because buyers can see what the boat is like and our marketing team match profiled buyers to the boat.

Our marketing team

At Boatshed HQ we have a team of people dedicated to managing the marketing life of each boat. The team will create bespoke marketing campaigns which start as soon as the boat goes live on

At Boatshed we have just under 0.6 Million registered users and by checking their viewing history on various boats we create a profile picture of the type of boat they are looking for.
For each boats listed with we create up to three marketing campaigns.

When the boat is goes live on

As soon as the boat goes live we contact profiled buyers to let them know this boat is available and they can look at full information of the boat using the link provided. We then monitor customer activity and watch the interest grow and handle enquiries as they come in.

Price reduction

We'll agree with owner a pre-planned price reduction marketing plan, so that the marketing of the boat can continue to run in background. Before the price is reduced all Owners will be notified.

Boat Auction -

This is an on-line auction for second hand boats, working in partnership with All transactions are fully secure, transparent and work under standard British Marine Federation guidelines.
Customers can bid with the confidence that any boat can be surveyed and sea trialled before they make the decision to finally buy. All boat sales are handled by a fully trained Yacht Broker, who will handhold you through contracts, details and the buying process.

Monthly updates

All Owners receive monthly updates in customer activity and interest on the boat. This is really important to keep Owners in the picture of what's happening.
