A Pursuit, as its name implies, is not a race. It is an opportunity to test the mettle of your boat against others. This is achieved by boats starting in groups, smallest first, with the aim of finishing at about the same time. The course starts at Gilkicker and goes round the Nab Tower and back, 20 miles.

I love Pursuit events, just watch the boats pile up to the finish line all at the same time!
